Check whether natural light entry points (windows, openings, doors) protect the space from direct sunlight. Direct sun exposure can damage furniture surfaces. Blinds, curtains, or window films are excellent ways to shield the environment. Pay close attention to this, as the warranty does not cover damage caused by sun exposure.

Finally, thoroughly clean the entire area. A clean, residue-free space minimizes the risk of infestation or damage to Finger product surfaces and structure. If using heavy-duty cleaning products, allow proper ventilation time and clean afterward to remove any substance that might come into contact with the furniture surfaces.

Cleaning Instructions

Robust Modulation – Panels, Doors, and Fronts

All Finger furniture products leave the factory pre-cleaned at the end of the manufacturing process. We recommend cleaning with a clean white cloth, lightly dampened with water and neutral soap. Then dry all Finger furniture surfaces thoroughly.

Do not use coarse-textured or firm materials, as they may scratch the furniture. Also avoid chemical or abrasive products, as they may cause irreversible damage.

Materials That Show Fingerprints

Some surface finishes naturally show fingerprints with handling. These are not defects but characteristics of the product. To reduce visible marks, clean with neutral detergent and a slightly damp white cloth, then dry with a clean dry cloth. Always clean in the direction of the wood grain to protect the surfaces.

Stroh Line (Natural Cotton Fiber Cane Doors)

Light dust: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush nozzle or a feather duster.

Heavier dirt (stains): Clean with a soft sponge (preferably the yellow side), dampened with warm water and neutral detergent. The friction will loosen the dirt, creating foam. Wipe with a clean damp cloth to remove the foam and allow it to dry naturally.

Avoid using abrasives, bleach, or alcohol, as they will stain and damage the surface.

Stark Panels (Solid Wood)

Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water only. Do not use abrasive products.

Aluminum/Glass Doors

Do not use knives or sharp objects to remove labels. Avoid contact with hard materials and sudden impacts when opening or closing doors. For cleaning, use paper towels or soft lint-free cloths.

Never spray cleaner directly on the glass, as it can damage furniture coatings and accessories (and eventually cause hinge oxidation). Spray the product on a cloth or paper towel instead.

Avoid cleaning under sunlight, which can cause streaks. First, use an absorbent paper to remove grease and grime, then clean. Use only water, neutral soap, or suitable cleaning products. Never use abrasives like steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals.

Frosted, Ribbed, and Miniboreal Glass

On the porous side, clean with a soft sponge dampened with water and neutral soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean white cloth.

Glass and Mirrors

Incorrect cleaning can damage the protective coating, cause stains from oxidation, and lead to faster deterioration. Use warm water and a cloth for the safest cleaning.

Avoid leaving edges wet after cleaning. Never use acidic, alkaline, or solvent-based cleaners, which can damage the surface, edges, and backing.

If using a glass cleaner, choose a neutral one without ammonia. Never spray directly on the mirror. Ensure edges are completely dry and residue-free.

A well-ventilated space prevents moisture condensation, which can be corrosive—especially in bathrooms, saunas, or heated pools. Where natural ventilation isn’t possible, use forced exhaust systems.
